Have you purchased your school supply packs for next year? See below for information and a link to the online store.
The window is open to purchase an engraved brick in our new Outdoor Learning Center "Heritage Walk."
We have 4 open positions on next year's PTA Officer and Executive Board lists - are you interested in being more involved?

School Supply Packs for Fall 2024

HES PTA is partnering with 1st Day School Supplies to provide an easy way to obtain your child's school supplies for the next year. The deadline to purchase is July 1, and all purchased packs will be delivered directly to your child's classroom before Meet the Teacher night on August 12.

Purchasing is easy, and each pack purchased comes with a $10 gift certificate for our spiritwear store. The packs contain the exact supplies requested by our HES teachers, and our research verified that the cost is a 50% savings over Amazon and a 65% savings over Target.com.

Outdoor Learning Center Heritage Walk

The fundraisers are done, the bids are in, and our donation has been approved by the GCISD Board of Trustees! Construction of the 2nd phase of our Outdoor Learning Center will occur over the summer!
Complementing the new beautiful outdoor classroom, students will return in the fall to find a turf "reading hill" and the "Heritage Walk" with engraved bricks purchased by families to celebrate their time at HES.

Brick sales will remain open until June 7. All bricks purchased by this date will be installed with phase II over the summer. There will be additional brick purchase opportunities in future years, with plans to replace existing "plain" bricks with engraved bricks until the Heritage Walk is full! PTA Officer and Executive Board Openings

After the conclusion of our Nomination and Election process, the following positions will be open at the beginning of the 2024-25 school year:

Secretary (Executive board will conduct an election at the 1st meeting)
Legislative (appointed by President)
Destination Imagination (appointed by President)
5th Grade Coordinator (appointed by President)
